Nuno Arruda mostly known as "DarkCode" was born in 1987 on the island of São Miguel in the Azores (Portugal).

The taste for music and dance began very early, he listen to electronic music since young and then took the taste to proceed with the art of music and DJing.

In 2002 he began producing at school and offered the music to his friends from which got a good feedback.

Since 2005 he's dj in online radios for which he records sets of house, electro, progressive and tribal, his favorite music genres.

In 2007 and through the events website AcoresXtreme.com, he gets his first act with the opportunity and shared the booth with the international DJ LayDee Jane (Czech Republic).

In 2008 he played in Insomnia Festival in the Micaelense Coliseum where he did the warm up for the international duo Super8 and Tab (Finland). Also in the same year had the opportunity to play in the Dark Pub/Esplanada on the island of Pico.

He has shared the booth with the following regional djs: Neurotoxin, Ishan, Slash, Eurik, Chemical Reaction, Nex, Brunpara, Kicker, Fanfa and Double Gee.

He also has played in the following clubs: PDL Cafe, XL Club, Black Code, Dark Pub/Esplanada and Baía dos Anjos.

DarkCode is one of the most recent music revelations in the Azores and wants to assert itself in the azorean night marking the audience through his sets characterized by the good musical taste.

Nuno Arruda mais conheçido por "DarkCode" nasceu em 1987 na ilha de São Miguel no arquipélago dos Açores (Portugal).

O gosto pela música de dança começou bem cedo, desde novo que ouve música electronica dai ter tomado o gosto de prosseguir na arte da música e do djing.

Em 2002 começou a produzir por brincadeira na escola e oferecia as músicas aos amigos dos quais obteve um bom feedback.

Desde 2005 que é DJ em radios online para as quais grava sets de house, electro, progressive e tribal, seus géneros musicais preferidos.

Em 2007, e através do site de eventos AcoresXtreme.com, obtem a sua primeira actuação tendo a oportunidade de partilhar a cabine com a DJ internacional LayDee Jane (República Checa).

Em 2008 actuou no festival Insomnia 2008 no Coliseu Micaelense onde fez o warm up para a dupla internacional Super8 and Tab (Finlândia). Ainda no mesmo ano teve oportunidade de tocar no Dark Pub/Esplanada da ilha do Pico.

Já partilhou a cabine com os djs regionais: Neurotoxin, Ishan, Slash, Eurik, Chemical Reaction, Nex, Brunpara, Kicker, Fanfa e Double Gee.

Também já passou pelas seguintes casas: PDL Cafe, XL Club, Black Code, Dark Pub/Esplanada e Baía dos Anjos.

DarkCode é uma das mais recentes revelações musicais nos Açores e pretende afirmar-se na noite açoriana marcando o público através dos seus sets caracterizados pelo bom gosto musical.
